Week in Review: March 31 – April 6, 2025
Modular Building Update: Progress continues on the modular buildings:

The PUD successfully upgraded the transformer and ran new power lines to our service on April 3rd.
-
ASET Inc. continued work on the fire panel and low-voltage fiber optic lines.
-
The low-voltage conduit installation is nearly complete.
-
We are still awaiting state review of the fire panel before moving forward with final connections.
-
Carpets will be installed on April 8th.
$6 Million Small Rural Schools Grant Update: Energy-efficient upgrades are moving forward:

The design phase is now at 90% completion.
-
Over Spring Break, the gymnasium lighting and Exit Lights were upgraded to Occupancy Sensing LED Lighting.
-
Ceiling height adjustments and lighting upgrades continue.
-
The HVAC system installation is progressing, along with the new hot water and chiller systems.
-
Work on the energy-efficient walk-in cooler and freezer has begun.
-
Construction teams remain on a swing shift schedule to reduce school-day disruptions.

Mr. Churchwell and Mr. Barthlow attended a EASIE webinar. EASIE stands for Electronic Application System for Indian Education. This helps us get Indian Education Grants.

Ms. Hathaway and Mr. Churchwell attended a regional HR Meeting at 11:30 am.

Mr. Churchwell and Mr. Walters met with Rita Pinchot who is a Mental Health Therapist. Rita works for ESD 112. The discussion is on getting more training for our staff on working with children experiencing trauma.

Raines Electric was on site powering up the modular buildings and installing outdoor lighting on the buildings
